America's best in thousand oaks is the worse hotel I've ever stayed at. They advertise free breakfast but have to pay extra for it. The rooms where dirty. The floor was disgusting and whenever I walked barefoot the bottom of my feet were black. The carpeting had dirt from the 90s as they rarely if ever vacuumed. The grounds had garbage that was never picked up. The garbage cans weren't emptied for days at a time. The ground was covered with ants and the rooms had bugs everywhere. They never had enough towels for half a person and a few of the rooms had bedbugs. I was assaulted by another guest and they never called 911. To add insult to injury they refused to rent us another room because of that even though I did nothing wrong. The hotel was constantly being raided by police for the drug dealing that goes on daily. The male manager was extremely rude. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to my worse enemies.

I booked at this motel for two days 5/9-5/11 after checking in and getting to my room. No tissue holder for TP tv didn't work phone didn't work either. Went to office to ask for a room change. he put me in remodeled room, nice but again no phone 5 static channels no hot shower and it took half the night for air to get cool. Upon checkout which is at 11a taking my belongings to my car they canceled the access key, I ask why they do that, her response was keep your key with you. I told her they key was on me and did not work. When I complained of having to take a cold shower she said their is hot water you just have to wait til it gets hot. I responded I waited in shower and nothing and my husband same issue. Instead of apologies or a partial refund their was no accountability and and deflecting the issues. I then expressed my regrets and never going back. Betty

Came to check in at around 7:15pm and the entire lobby was locked. Note on the door said they would be back after 8:15 from lunch. We work nights. Didn't have time to sit and wait an hour just to check in. Phone calls were not answered. Came back after our shift and they had cancelled our reservation as a no show. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Absolutely horrible. Avoid at all costs. Never have I ever come remotely close to how bad my experience was here. I didn't even stay the night, I was in & out within 15minutes after seeing the room. Going through the process for a refund currently. AVOID.

I ask the lady who take care the sheets/towels/ETC.She won't even give me a clean sheets/towels.She said she don't have any clean ones yet.After few hours she said the same thing that's why I went to the front desk
